Autistic Adult Support Groups

These support groups are led by and for Autistic adults. Come and connect with other Autistic adults to share your experiences and opinions in a safe and nonjudgmental space.

There are 3 groups to select from with different leaders.  Some groups are offered in person and others online. 

Held IN PERSON the 1st Saturday of each month

This is primarily a discussion and social group for adults, 18 and older, who are or think they might be, on the Autism Spectrum. The purpose is to share perspectives and enjoy time together learning and laughing and exploring new things about  ourselves and others.

This support group is led by Brad Nuttall.

When: Saturday, April 1st
Time: 1 – 3 PM
Where: Escalante Community Center in Tempe

Held ONLINE the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month

This is primarily a discussion and social group for adults, 18 and older, who are or think they might be, on the Autism Spectrum. The purpose is to share perspectives and enjoy time together learning and laughing and exploring new things about  ourselves and others.

This support group is led by Sue Golubock and Tara Marshall.

When: Saturday, April 8th
Time: 1 – 3 PM

When: Saturday,  April 22nd
Time: 1 – 3 PM

Held ONLINE on the 3rd Saturday of each month, date may vary

Attendees: Many hold a diagnosis of non-verbal learning disorder, ASD, ADHD or a learning disability. Build connections and friendships, expand support network, social involvement and interests. Diagnosis is not necessary.

These meetings foster engagement in activities and small group discussions geared toward advancing social skills and building friendships. The group may also plan additional social activities. Ages 17-35.

This support group is led by Dawn Oliver.

When: Saturday, April 22nd
Time: 11 – 12:30 PM
