East Valley Autism Network (E.V.A.N.)
East Valley Autism Network was founded in 2006 by 3 Autism Mom’s: Melissa VanHook, Holly Reycraft, and Katie Wride.
What started out as a way to connect with other parents all attending the same school in Gilbert, grew to hundreds of families connecting, supporting each other, advocating in the school system and at the legislature over the years.
We have held a monthly support group meeting for parents and caregivers in several locations over the years. We have a different speaker each month and also allow for families to meet and connect with each other before and after each meeting.
(We request that parents do not bring children to these meetings so we can focus on the speaker and meeting other caregivers.)
E.V.A.N. meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at Mi Amigo’s in Mesa in the banquet room from 6:30-8:30PM.
Mi Amigo’s Mexican Grill
1264 S Gilbert Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204
(We do not meet May-July as we take summers off to be with our families).
Every year at our April meeting, we have several different providers of summer camps come and present for a few minutes on their summer programs.
