North Valley Autism Society of Greater Phoenix Meeting

East Valley Meetings – We are partnering with E.V.A.N. (East Valley Autism Network)

AZ ASSIST East Valley – For teens/young adults and their parents

TIME:: 7:00-9:00 PM
WHEN: 3rd Monday of the month (No meeting in July/Dec)
WHERE: Campus of Redemption Church, 2150 East Southern, Tempe 85282. Just west of the 101 on the north side of Southern. Look for the AZ ASSIST signs in the parking lot.

AZ ASSIST West Valley – For teens/young adults and their parents

TIME: 6:30-8:30PM
WHEN: 1st Thursday of the month (No meeting in July)

Adult Support Groups We Sponsor:  

North Valley Adult Autism/Asperger’s Support Group
TIME: 12 – 2 PM
WHEN: Last Saturday of the month
WHERE: Paradise Valley Community College,18401 N 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85032, Welcome Center Building, Free Parking on site.

Newcomers are always welcome! Light lunch will be provided.

Attendees: Many hold a diagnosis of non-verbal learning disorder, ASD, ADHD or a learning disability. Build connections and friendships, expand support network, social involvement and interests. Diagnosis is not necessary.

Engage in activities and small group discussions geared toward advancing social skills and building friendships.  The group may also plan additional social activities.  Ages 17–35. Parents and friends who are present will gather separately from this group, at the college, and meet at the same time.

Also, please feel free to invite others for whom this may be helpful and/or fun.

Adults with High-Functioning Autism/Asperger’s

Meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month in Tempe at the Pyle Center from 12:30-3:30PM.

At the same time as the Adults with High Functioning Autism/Aspergers there is a support group for parents.

The Parent/Family Support Group for Adults with Autism/Asperger’s usually meets on the
second Saturday monthly at 1:00 PM to 3:00 at the Pyle Adult Recreation
Center, 655 East Southern Ave, Tempe (West of the library).
Reminder letters usually arrive at most one week in advance advising in which room we will meet.
